Here are our candidates, Lily and Vernon, standing in front of a well known landmark in the Aylesbury West ward. It's great to see such a positive, uplifting message and Aylesbury Labour are delighted that Aylesbury Town Council were able to facilitate these artworks that residents in many other towns around Bucks and the rest of the country were already able to enjoy as part of the national Openreach Cabinet Art Project. These amazing artworks belong to our communities, just like every tree, every footpath, every home and every resident.
Aylesbury Labour believes in our communities and, like the message in the art, we say "Believe in yourselves, always".

Steal money from older people that is labour now it’s starmer party labour is finished
As a local Labour Party, the wellbeing of parents and their children is at the core of what we believe.
John Macilwraith was Bucks Council's Director of Children's Services until he quit at the end of March, following an Ofsted inspection in February.
Ofsted has shared the report with Bucks Council, but the findings are under embargo and cannot be released until after the May 1st local elections. This is due to pre-election period where civil servants and local council cannot be involved with politics. ... See MoreSee Less

The conservative leader of Buckinghamshire council needs to make a public statement on this important report. In the public interest
As a SEND parent, I have a very particular interest in seeing that report. It seems the last Ofsted inspection, in 2022, found weaknesses in the council’s SEND services. I’m sure I’m not the only one who has complained to John Macilwraith about said department, only for his PA to redirect my email to [email protected] - never to be heard of again, unless they have permission (it seems) to act. My Stage 1 complaint about the LA’s failure to provide alternative education also got delayed for no good reason. I had to go to the LGO before they would escalate it. This embargo is dodgy indeed!
Our candidates for Aylesbury South West Labour, Ansar Gulzar and Tanya Warshaw have just received an endorsement from Khalid, a lifelong Aylesbury resident and local business owner.

Hi, this is Arden, one of your Labour candidates for Aylesbury South East in the May 1st Local Elections.
For years, the Lib-Dems and Tories on Bucks Council have tried to close the Tring Road allotments and evict every tenant - many of them elderly for whom the allotments are great source of purpose and community. For the years the council have tried to shut it all down, I have fought and campaigned against it.
In this video, one such long time tenant of the allotments, John, shares an insight into what is coming and is needed. ... See MoreSee Less

Well done Arden and John !! And all involved in this video, which will hopefully be helpful in making the public see , support and understand the situation . 👍
This is amazing, John puts across such a compelling, well thought-out alternative and it amazes me to this day why the Town Council have never addressed this issue properly. Such short sightedness 😓
