Welcome to the Aylesbury Labour Party!

I have been active in the Labour Party for many years. I have previously been a Councillor for the Southcourt Ward on the District And Town Councils, and subsequently into the recently created Bucks Council.

Women's Officer

I’ve lived in Bucks most of my life and went to school in Aylesbury. I’ve been a member for around 7-8 years. I attended both the Women's and Annual Conferences last year which was a fantastic experience.

I have been a proud member of the Aylesbury Labour Party for nearly 10 years. I have been a Labour Candidate in previous elections for Aylesbury District council and Bucks County council.

My job as LGBTQ+ officer on the Executive Committee is to oversee the prevention of discrimination, in all its forms. I will ensure diversity and inclusion in our policies and procedures. Please contact me directly if you have any concerns in and around these issues.

Jacqui Jacques

Trade Union Liaison Officer

My name is Jacqui Jacques and I have been a Labour Party member for over 10 years. I am also a secondary school teacher in a local school in Aylesbury, where I have been teaching for over 25 years. I am married with 2 grown up sons.

Policy Officer

I am proud to be part of the executive committee of the Aylesbury Labour party and I hope to bring skills and experience from a range of strategic roles in business and the Arts.

Key responsibilities include: working with other officers to put together a CLP development plan with specific targets for community organising and capacity building;

Youth Officer

The Youth Officer is essentially a chair of the Young Labour group within the CLP. The youth officer should organise activities for youth members and make sure youth members participate in other Labour activities.
