✅ Later evening journeys
✅ Brand new Sunday services
Key routes serving Fairford Leys, Bedgrove, Broughton, Cleveland Park, Buckingham Park and RAF Halton will all benefit.
This is the difference a Labour government is already making for Aylesbury, investing in our community, improving connections, and supporting local people who rely on public transport every day.

Our MP Laura Kyrke-Smith for Aylesbury stood up in Parliament today to introduce Sophie’s Law, a vital Bill to protect new mums’ mental health. This is Laura's first 10-minute motion, the Perinatal Mental Health Assessments Bill, also known as Sophie’s Law.
This Bill is named after Sophie Middlemiss, one of Laura’s closest friends, who tragically took her own life just ten weeks after giving birth to her third child in 2021.
Sophie’s story is heartbreaking, but it’s not rare.
Did you know that:
💔 1in 4 women experience mental-health difficulties during pregnancy or after birth.
💔 Suicide is the leading cause of death for new mothers between six weeks and a year after giving birth.
Sophie’s Law would ensure that every pregnant woman in England receives a high-quality mental-health assessment as a routine part of antenatal care, ending the postcode lottery and tackling the inequalities that mean too many mothers still fall through the cracks.
There’s more to this than just statistics. Behind every single number is a family - partners, grandparents and children whose lives are changed forever when a mother’s mental-health needs go unseen. This is why Sophie’s Law matters, to make sure mental health is treated as a fundamental part of maternity care, not an optional extra.
We’re proud that our Labour MP is standing up for parents and families across Aylesbury and the country, speaking up for those whose struggles too often go unheard.
Please share to show your support for Sophie’s Law, and help us make sure no mother faces early parenthood unseen or unsupported.

While there is a lot of negativity in media about our country and our government, it is important that The Labour Party meets real peoples' issues and that everyone hears of the great work being done!

TODAY, we were out in Fairford Leys with our MP Laura Kyrke-Smith for Aylesbury and the guys from Bucks Labour Forum!
Our fired up team knocked on over 300 doors, and spoke with residents about the local issues impacting them - most frequently the 20Mph speed limit and the developments with the Whitehill GPs.
These concerns and questions are fed back to Laura Kyrke Smith, and seek to answer all we can! ... See MoreSee Less

As we often say, but it continues to be true, it's great to have an MP who is active and visible in the communities that make up Aylesbury and its nearby villages. This weekend, she participated in the Aylesbury Hindu Temple's Ganesh Chaturthi festival.
------ Here's a quote from Laura -------
"...Celebrating our shared human values of wisdom and learning, it’s a wonderful moment that brings people together in a lovely way. I love the diversity of our communities in Aylesbury and the villages.
Thank you to the Mandeville School for opening up their hall for us. Thank you to all the organisers for welcoming me so warmly. I hope that everyone had a wonderful time!
We also discussed again how important it is for the Hindu community to have their own temple in Aylesbury - and I will continue to support their efforts in every way that I can."

"Whether they are about the much needed Eastern Link road, the rail link to Milton Keynes or the many traffic hotspots, so many of the conversations I have with my residents come back to the same issue of our poor infrastructure and the impact it has on people’s quality of life."
"On Thursday, I called for Buckinghamshire Council to use that funding to give Aylesbury the boost we need. You can watch Lucy Powell MP's response below and you can read more about the Government's announcement here

2 weekends ago, Aylesbury held a vigil for the children of Palestine, where their names were read out over a period of 12 hours. Over 20,000 have been killed. 12 hours was not enough time to read all of the names.
Many volunteers and our MP Laura Kyrke-Smith for Aylesbury stood and spoke the names, a difficult and emotional thing to do; to put a name and a family to the children normally represented by a number, and an unimaginable, horrific number at that.
We are immensely proud that she rose in Parliament, to speak of this event and for the wider cause
"Najwa Ahmed Fathi Radwan and Mohammed Hassan Yousef Daoud are just two of the tens of thousands of Palestinian children who have been killed in Gaza.
Many of their names were read out over the course of 12 hours at a really powerful vigil that I joined in Aylesbury town centre this weekend.
Yet today that list of dead children has likely just got longer with Israel's assault on Deir al-Balah.
We are right to name them and to remember them. It was incredibly moving to see and be part of our community coming together in this way.
But we must also honour their memory by doing everything in our power to end the killing NOW.
Yesterday I asked Foreign Secretary David Lammy to make it clear to his Israeli counterpart that "Enough is enough". I was assured he is doing just that." ... See MoreSee Less
