Under a new Government system - Individual Electoral Registration (IER) – it is now up to YOU as an individual to register your details and check they are correct. Previously one person could register the whole household - this is no longer the case.

Make sure you're registered to vote - you just need your National Insurance (NI) number and date of birth.

You can resister to vote, or check if you're already registered to vote, online at

https://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote

If you are unable to register to vote online or want to check if you are already on the register, please contact the Elections Office at Aylesbury Vale District Council, on 01296 585807.

Please also encourage friends, family and neighbours to register to vote, and check that their registration is still valid.
